Animoca Brands Japan has revealed a high-profile partnership with industry giants Honda, Gryfyn, and GET Protocol. Moreover, this initiative aims to transform the attendee experience at the upcoming FORMULA 1 Honda & Red Bull Welcome Event and the 2023 F1 Japanese Grand Prix.
Animoca Brands and Honda Partnership
In a recent update, Animoca Brands Japan confirmed its partnership with Honda, Gryfyn, and GET Protocol. Further, the partnership aims to enhance the experiences of attendees through blockchain technology in the form of NFTs at the events. Particularly, at the FORMULA 1 Honda & Red Bull Welcome Event and the 2023 F1 Japanese Grand Prix.
Furthermore, organizers have scheduled the FORMULA 1 Honda & Red Bull Welcome Event for September 20th, 2023, at Zepp Shinjuku, Tokyo. This event is already causing a buzz with its innovative Web3 approach to engaging fans. Also, Honda will distribute Honda KEY NFTs to participants in the lottery during the event.
Additionally, the organizers will airdrop a commemorative NFT to the ticket-holder accounts after the event. These NFTs can potentially secure tickets to the flagship Tokyo event, scheduled from September 21st to September 24th.
Efforts of Animoca Brands and Honda
Moving forward, an Animoca Brands subsidiary, Gryfy, has greatly contributed to the partnership as a Web3 wallet. Not to mention, GET Protocols have enabled the integration of NFT into the operations for the event.
Lately, the platform has introduced features that facilitate advanced funding for future events for creators. In addition, GET Protocols collaborated with the Dutch Grand Prix for digital collectibles, and the company has allowed the sale of over 4 million blockchain-backed tickets. These tickets were from renowned artists like Ne-Yo, Gucci Mane, Lewis Capaldi, and Louis C.K.
Recently, the company got a sustainable $4.5 million investment that hints at a possible shift in the industry’s dynamic. At its core, Animoca Brands Japan is forging a platform that integrates Japanese intellectual property and content with blockchain technology.
