Video game commerce company Xsolla is launching its own zero-knowledge (ZK) chain, Xsolla ZK, to form a network of gaming solutions on-chain.
The blockchain will run on ZKsync’s Elastic Chain, an Ethereum Layer-2 solution that interconnects blockchain networks.
Although Elastic Chain functions like a multichain, it echoes the simplicity of a single blockchain because it facilitates secure, scalable, and efficient transactions—each of which will help Xsolla’s cluster of gaming titans easily transact and interact with one another.
“By deploying our expertise on the ZKsync Elastic Chain, we provide game developers with a scalable and pioneering solution aligning with the economic models with which they are familiar,” commented Lee Jacobson, Xsolla’s VP of Web3 business development.
Game developers and item engineers (like NFT creators) will soon be able to manage and store their virtual goods seamlessly on Xsolla ZK via a ‘digital backpack’.
Xsolla Markets & Distributes Games Worldwide
Gaming entrepreneurs can flourish on Xsolla ZK by building their connections, maximizing their capital, and launching their games internationally.
Since its inception in 2005, the company has already witnessed notable victories. Over 1K publishers and 2.5K games have utilized its gaming technology, including Valve, Take-Two, KRAFTON, Nexters, NetEase, Playstudios, Playrix, and miHoYo.
Ultimately, its mission is to address the challenges of monetizing, marketing, and distributing games across the globe.
Having several offices in major cities (London, Berlin, Beijing, Montreal, Seoul, Guangzhou, and Kuala Lumper) further helps the Los Angeles-based firm achieve such goals.
