The renowned toy company Funko Pop is set to release its new collection, “Harry Potter Funko Pop NFT,” on January 23 at 11 AM PT. The company’s previous collection, “Squid Game Funko Pop NFT,” was seen as a misstep in the market.
The Harry Potter NFT: Beyond Hogwarts
Funko officially announced its upcoming “Harry Potter NFT” launch, beyond Hogwarts. The company is known for its whimsical figurines and is now introducing the new characters from Hogwarts. The company stated, “Experience the spellbinding world of Harry Potter” on their official website.
Furthermore, the collection includes Premium Packs worth $29.99 with seventeen items, two more than the previous collection. In addition, the Standard Packs are worth $9.99 with five NFTs each. Notably, Funko is planning on expanding the series with various offerings.
These include 62,500 packs to 31,250 Standard and 31,250 Premium Packs. This marks an exit from the recent decline in Funko NFT’s popularity in the market. What’s more, they are introducing seven physical collectibles from the Harry Potter series.
Additionally, Funko has planned another figurine with 3,00 units, Freddy Funko as Death Eater. There will be 2,200 units of five legendary figurines, including Viktor Krum with Shark Head, Fleur Delacour with Bubble-Head Air Mask, and more. Also, the Grail Harry Potter with Gills and Grindylow figurines will be there, with just 999 units.

After the release of Squid Game Funko NFT, the company saw a drop with over 53% of the unsold collectibles. Besides, this was not the only incident. Funko has seen drops with their recent Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Steven Universe, The Powerpuff Girls, and Mickey and Friends collectibles.
Subsequently, collectors had complaints regarding shipping, refund policies, and more. Now, the company is aiming to boost its market position with the new collection. The redemption window for these physical collectibles will start from May 22 at 11 AM PT until June 21 at 11:59:59 PM PT.
Finally, collectors can join the virtual queue a few minutes before the sale to buy the new collection. More importantly, Funko has the right to alter the actual products, maintaining the surprise elements in the collection.
