Starting tomorrow, OKX swings into yet another Web3 and sports initiative. This time around, it’s an immersive competition dubbed ‘OKX Crypto Cricket Cup‘, running for one whole month until November 5.
In light of the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup hosted in India, the prominent crypto exchange invites all cricket lovers to explore Web3 by snagging limited-edition cricket-themed NFTs and competing for a portion of a prize pool exceeding a hefty $200,000.
“The realm of cricket is ripe for a Web3 metamorphosis. Immense entertainment utility poised to be unleashed through GameFi and Web3 is on the horizon. We are enthusiastic about forging alliances with local ecosystem actors to deliver some of these experiences to cricket enthusiasts, including those in India, imminently.”

Competing in the OKX Crypto Cricket Cup 2023
Competitors can potentially accumulate winning virtual collectibles and a significant amount of capital provided they explore OKX’s blockchain-based products and bring friends to the competition via Twitter or Telegram.
OKX will then airdrop them NFTs featuring famed international cricket teams. Winners of an NFT showcasing the champion cricket team will be in contention for $50,000. In contrast, those with the second-place squad on their asset could garner $30,000, alongside holders of the third-place team having a shot of winning $20,000.
Those determined to come out on top can partake in Web3 challenges on the Polygon chain via an OKX Wallet and explore the OKX NFT Marketplace to heighten their chances of victory.
For people less dedicated, however, the OKX Crypto Cricket Cup will issue token giveaways throughout the event at random.
Notably, Souvenir NFT rewards worth $30,000 and LogX, Plant Crossing, Alienswap, Satori, and Cricketfly prizes, each amounting to $20,000, safeguard the remaining $10,000 of the jackpot. Although, how OKX distributes these mysterious goods remains uncertain.
All participants must stay patient until November 27 to hear whether or not they have struck gold. Still, may the best teams and cricket buffs win big!
