The renowned gaming company Ubisoft has announced the minting date for “Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles.” In addition to that, the announcement represents the company’s first venture in the blockchain gaming domain. The studio will have the minting of “Warlords” NFTs on December 18.
Champion Tactics & Warlords NFT
In a recent announcement, Champions Tactics made it official on social platform X that they will offer NFT minting now. As per the tweet, Ubisoft is offering 8,000 Warlord NFTs. The participants can join the mint on December 18 at 6 am ET.
Furthermore, the enthusiasts joining at 6 am will have to register themselves on the Whitelist spots using the link provided in the tweet. The Whitelist only has 300 spots. Also, participants on the Darklist can join at 2 pm ET as part of the general public release.
Warlords are pixel-style heroes in the game with weapons and will be similar looking to the social media profile picture of the player. What’s more, players can also use the NFTs as avatars in the game. However, they will have to pay a gas fee to mint these NFTs.
Ubisoft has also revealed that players will get access to a mint of playable in-game characters. These Warlords NFT owners can get a chance to mint five “Champions Tactics” characters without paying any fees. Champions Tactics will work on the Ethereum-compatible Oasys chain. Besides, they will stamp 9,999 Warlords NFTs, with 1,000 going to the Oasys community and 999 to Ubisoft.
Ubisoft’s Champion Tactics Game Plan
The company has not revealed all the details about the game so far. But the world of Grimoria will have seven groups with different aesthetics. These include zombie-like characters, demon beings, and more.
Additionally, the game will provide a player-versus-player tactical RPG. The company launched the game “Champions Tactics” in June 2023 and will launch the PC version in early 2024. Ubisoft also confirmed that they are collaborating with NFT gaming projects Pixelmon and CyberKongz.
Finally, with the new projects, enthusiasts can have a more immersive NFT gaming experience. This new venture will take Ubisoft to new heights, attracting new users to the NFT gaming industry.
